Help Us Raise Money to Rescue an Asian Elephant!

Join Us For a New Year’s Day Polar Swim in English Bay to Help Us Raise Money to Rescue an Asian Elephant!
How cool would it be to rescue a suffering elephant so it can live in elephant heaven?
We all love elephants. They’re intelligent, emotional and the biggest mammal on our planet. But few people realise that elephants suffer severe social, physical and psychological damage when made to perform or give tourists rides. (See https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bfGZpaXEZvE for a video but if it may distress you, please read a summary here – http://www.worldnomads.com/explore/responsible-travel/thailand/81053/why-elephant-riding-should-be-removed-from-your-bucket-list.)

Elephanatics BC is a non-profit org in Vancouver that strives to prevent extinction and improve the lives of all elephants through education, advocacy and fundraising. Would you like to help us rescue an abused riding elephant in Thailand and retire her to the Elephant Nature Park – a huge sanctuary in northern Thailand with over 70 elephants?
You can! It’s easy and we promise to make it fun. Just be a Polar Elephant with us at the:
