What is the UNTOC Protocol?
The United Nations Convention against Transnational Organized Crime (UNTOC) is the global treaty used to combat international crime syndicates. Adding a dedicated Wildlife Crime Protocol would legally obligate countries to treat wildlife trafficking with the same severity as weapons or drug smuggling—helping shut down the illegal trade networks threatening endangered species, ecosystems, and humans.
